Curt sylvester

Some stories whisper. Others demand to be told. For Curt Sylvester, Sorcerer Seed was the latter, a tale that refused to stay silent until it was finally written.

Born on December 23rd, 1951, in Lebanon, Oregon, Curt’s journey didn’t begin with ink and parchment but logic and code.

A computer programmer by trade, he spent years mastering languages like COBOL and RPG, guiding teams through the shifting tides of technology. He built systems, solved puzzles, and even taught others the art of programming. But through it all, a different kind of language called to him: the language of storytelling.

Curt’s writing journey began through college poetry and short stories, but the true spark ignited when his children were young. He used to write stories for them, characters that never saw the light of the day until they forced Sylvester to tell their story to the world.

So, Curt abided courteously as he came to retirement. Freed from the demands of work, Curt finally had time to listen. And so, the Sorcerer of Almora series was born, a tale of magic, ambition, power, and destruction.

Influenced by Robert Jordan, Anne McCaffrey, Jean Auel, Marion Zimmer Bradley, George R. R. Martin, and Brandon Sanderson, Curt crafts epic adventures filled with mystery, power struggles, and ancient prophecies.

What Lies Ahead

With Book Two: Sorcerer Scroll in the works and more books taking shape in his mind, Curt’s journey is far from over. The exiles’ story is still unfolding, and he’s determined to see it through to the end.
